Early 2025- We are tweaking the new design and we are now taking orders for our new sheet metal BBQs. We have evolved our BBQ design beyond the limitations of the oil drum. Oil drums are made from thin sheet and tend to rust out at the bottom- the thickest steel drums available are 0.8mm for the curved body and 1.0mm for the sides.

We design and hand build high quality BBQs that will last years in the challenging environment of holding a fire and being outside in the rain. The new sheet metal design with sleek folded edges is made from 2mm steel for the body and 3mm sides. We offer 2 BBQs- the J-CUT and the Deep Base in a choice of 3 types of metal- Mild steel- sprayed black, Corten- left to rust and Stainless steel which can be brushed or mirror polished.

New for 2025 We are offering Corten self weathering steel- as it offers corrosion resistance as once rusted a stable oxide layer is formed and it wont rust away. The rust look is also our favourite finish as it just looks great, is low maintenance and stylish
